Influences

I like a large variety of music so it is very difficult to list my influences. Early on I liked bands like Cream, Jimi Hendrix and Yes. I still like them today. I also listened to a lot of jazz including John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and so many others. I still like blues based rock like The White Stripes and The Black Keys. I also like a lot of funk, fusion, and progressive rock bands. Have to throw in The Alabama Shakes, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and all good soul/R & B

I have a Yamaha DTX522K electronic kit in my apartment I use to practice on and a Premier XPK birch kit from the mid 90's that sounds beautiful and is a work of art. I use Zildjian cymbals.
