I like fuzzy guitars, noisy synths, raw drums, tape machines, multiple kick drums, swing beats, d beats, upstrokes, downstrokes, palm muting, finger picking, down tuning, George Harrison and Henry Rollins. I like experimenting with unorthodox playing, tonal, and recording techniques. I also like maintaining a certain amount of tradition. I engineer and mix music as well. Musicians should be open minded and relatively committed, but having fun and making good music is the goal. In terms of genres, I'm looking to play anything as simple as Anti Flag and A Day to Remember to the more technical and heavy like August Burns Red and After the Burial, and I am looking for a skill level that would be fitting for such music. I also like to play music with fuzzier, warmer sounding tones (think queens of the stone age/stoner rock) as well as the razor sharp, sterile tone of metal (control the treble). I think noise is a good thing. I have played guitar for 8 years, drums for 16 years, keyboards/synths for 14 years (though that is not my forte), and i have been singing and screaming for as long as i can remember, I am self taught.
