ABOUT

I am the singer for WarTux if you've seen us in the last year, you've seen me! I'm looking to collaborate on other projects with people now that I have more time in my schedule.

I have inspiration to create a band (or join one) with “funk wave/funk-nouveau” sounds. I really enjoy funk bass lines and beats with ambient new wave overtones/themes. I love catchy hooks and tight vocal harmonies. I want to see this genre come to life — I haven’t found anyone that’s done it yet.

I also love trip-hop-y, haunting hypnotic tones, jazzy vocals, and 90s alternative.

Regarding my experience/approach:
I have years of singing experience, in stage, choir, and other mediums, and with WarTux. I do best with patient, experience musicians who allow me time to learn and thrive when I have time to digest the material and on stage.

I'm not a theorist, though I know a little bit from my choir/piano days.
