*LOOKING FOR A SINGER!
Away Message is a band of obsessive millennial worship for the people who never gave up their skinny jeans and swoop bangs! This is a new project - our setlist will consist of alt rock, emo, and pop (in a rock arrangement) from the 00’s. Anything that invokes nostalgia of the era and is fun to sing and dance along with.
We work and play hard but aren’t doing this for fame or money. We all have day jobs, so this will be primarily nights and weekends. We’re all based in the central Bucks/Montco area.
We are looking for a singer (any gender) who is serious about music and committed to regular practice. We expect to play 1-2 times a month depending on our availability. Potential candidates should have reasonable knowledge of the 00’s music scene, at least some experience performing in a live/bar setting, and fairly ranged vocal chops, capable of handling different styles. Stage presence is a big plus! Ability to play some rhythm guitar or keyboards would also be a major plus!
