I am a freelance trumpeter and recent graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While attending UAB I studied trumpet performance with Steven Roberts and attended weekly masterclasses led by Leonard Candelaria and Marc Reed. I have performed with a variety of ensembles, including the 13th Street Brass Quintet, UAB's Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, and Advanced Trumpet Ensemble (which will be performing at the ITG Conference in Minneapolis, MN this May). I also served as a Mellophone Section Leader for the UAB Marching Blazers and the Sergeant at Arms for the Theta Theta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity.
