ABOUT

This sounds hilarious inside my head so I can't wait to type it: I am a 30 year old stay-at-home mom who would like to find any possible way to turn drumming into my vocation. I've been playing for years, and could also fill in on rhythm guitar and possibly lead guitar if need be. I just put the clarinet experience in my profile for laughs... But I seriously can play one. The type of music I would prefer to is anything on the heavier side of rock... Metal, progressive rock, what have you. I will gladly play any style of music, however, if it is a paying gig. I was approaching a time where my kids were starting school, so I could again rejoin the workforce. Spew, right? And I thought I'd try as hard as possible to make music a source of (sort of) income, before resorting to the life of a working stiff. Also I live for music, and would love any excuse to hear/play more of it.

Influences

Classic rock, alternative rock, hard rock, progressive rock, southern rock, punk rock, blues, folk, jam bands, hilarious hip-hop (ICP, beastie boys, kmk, cypress hill, etc), ska, funk (and I mean FUNK), funk-rock fusion (rd hot chili peppers, etc), and probably most of all.... The metal. I so love very angry music- tool, slipknot and bring me the horizon at the top of my list. And of course, classical, without which no other music would be possible.
