I seek to form a jam band. We do covers that show our DNA and we take it from there.
I want it to be organic. I want us to play instrumental covers that meander and resolve or not. As long as we're tight the jams will sound good.
I am not interested in traditional gigging. I'd prefer to rent a spot, bring our recording gear and invite a discerning audience who will pay or donate.
I am open to any ideas or styles or rituals or methods or whatever. I have zero musical training but Im not terrible. I'll provide clips. Also, I have next to zero gigging experience. I have played with a band to small audiences in parking lots and condominium pools guerrilla style, but nothing I consider a true gigging exp.
