I'm a songwriter at heart. My ultimate goal would be to one day write a hit single.
But I'm also itching to play live music. My first positive experience playing music came in high school when I formed a cover band with some friends and played our local bowling alley several times.
Then while in college I formed a punk rock band with some friends and had a lot of fun writing and practicing original songs. We had a few gigs.
As I've gotten older, I've shifted towards writing folk music. I've also been influenced by bands like Old Crow Medicine Show and Turnpike Troubadours, so during covid I went ham and learned the banjo, lap steel, and harmonica. (As heard in my demos below).
I"m itching to find musicians I can connect with and hopefully release some awesome tracks into the world.
It would also be awesome to get some local gigs playing original folk music.
I do have a full-time job during the day, so music is more of a hobby for me. But let's just say it's a hobby I take seriously.
I think the main goal of making music should be to have fun!
