From a drummer perspective, Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, Dave Weckl. Grew up listening to Yes, Rush, Queen, Police, to name a few. Also, listened to jazz for a bit and then made the move to the various generations of Alternative and Progressive rock over the last 30 years
