Band to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Drums.

I'm Christian Howell, a lanky quiet dude. I am lead guitarist for the band Vitruvia. We are currently looking for a drummer to play with us. We have a lot of big shows lined up, including with bands like We Came As Romans, I See Stars, and more. Hit me up for more info at falsefortuneband (at) (dot) com.

Ihave played music since I started piano at 6, but my main instrument is guitar, which I took up at 12. I'm into various genres of music, currently I'm into post-hardcore (At the Drive-In, Chiodos) and progressive metal (Dream Theater, Haken, Mastodon) and am exploring several other genres, including Drum and Bass and death metal. I grew up with classic rock and latin rock, my first rock love being Queen, and later expanded into the world of the pretentious with prog rock like Pink Floyd and Yes. After starting to play in the punk scene that grew around my New Jersey hometown, I started to accept more modern music and explore adding my latin roots and guitar style into the rather stagnant current post-hardcore scene. Between the Buried and Me was the first band that I enjoyed with unclean vocals, which I had before regarded as pointless and ugly. Recently I've discovered more foreign genres, such as the Japanese metal band Dir en grey.
