I've been playing my guitar since I was 16, I'm not really into doing covers (but I will), I prefer writing original music. I've never been in a gigging band but I have no hesitations with getting on a stage.
I love the band atomosphere, bouncing ideas off of each other to produce the sound that is in our heads. I don't really claim to be a lyricist but I have my moments, I just haven't written anything down yet.
I also play with mixing/editing in my home "studio" and I don't think I'm too bad at it. I've been tossing the idea of turning my backyard shed into a serious recording studio, it's the perfect place to set up.
I also ramble a lot so this is probably longer than most descriptions on this site. But I'm very serious about getting something going.

EQUIPMENT
I went on a "break" for a while so I'm building my equipment back up since I sold all of it. Long story.
Right now it's mostly just me and my Laguna LE422. I love this guitar almost as much as my wife.
I just have a 15 watt amp and a Boss ME-70, I haven't invested in anything larger because I mostly go direct into my PC to record, or mic up the practice amp (which is LOUD as hell for a 15 watt). I have access to larger amps and will invest in something more gig worthy.
