i Play Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Mandolin and Balalaika well and tinker with Keyboards Harmonica, Banjo, Bass Guitar and Dulcimer. I also sing (baritone range). I play fingerstyle guitar very well.

Although I currently only do solo gigs where I sing and play guitar, I would like to be part of a band situation but only if it is something that looks promising and a situation that allows me to use my potential and play the type of music I enjoy, which is mostly Classic Rock.

I have been in bands that have done only heavy metal and hard rock as well as band situations where I have played only acoustic guitar. It would be ideal for me to do something that is more of a mix instead of one extreme or the other.

I currently have a set list of over 100 cover tunes by over 50 different artists. As stated above, it is mostly Classic Rock. I also have some original material as well. I have done almost 200 gigs with the majority of them being solo acoustic gigs and a good number of them as part of either a duo or trio. I would like to be part of a four or five person band. Any more than that leaves you with very little when splitting up the money and coordinating a regular practice schedule with a lot of people gets to be difficult as well.

Most of the recordings I have posted on the Net are just old rehearsal recordings from the past. In those recordings, I am the one singing lead vocals and playing acoustic guitar.

I am a big fan of English bands like: Beatles, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Deep Purple and more.

Other international acts that I like are: AC/DC, The Scorpions, Neil Young, Rush, etc.

I like American bands like: Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, Kansas, The Doors, Styx, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Kiss and so on,

I even like mellow stuff like Jim Croce and Classical music too. But just about anything I listen to and enjoy influences me one way or another...
