ABOUT

Hey, newly formed band here, looking to complete our lineup with a guitarist and/or a singer. This group is a new project meeting once a week on Sunday nights. The idea is something enjoyable—the main goal is to have fun playing music, while putting in some genuine work to produce real quality tunes.

I play bass—42 years old with a dedicated rehearsal space inside a music studio. It's set up for recording and hanging out. Been playing in bands on and off for about 18 years. We also have keys and drums. All of us are laid back and down to earth—we’ve gotten together 3 or 4 times and the rhythm section is starting to gel pretty well already.

I'd like to do a mix of covers and originals. Lately I've been listening to funky stuff like The New Mastersounds, creative songwriting-type stuff like Gomez, soulful vocal/guitar combo stuff like Tedeschi Trucks Band, and jamband/improvisational rock groups along the lines of Phish. Not looking to rehash classic rock or blues.

We need lead guitar and lead vocals, which could come from the one person or two. If your main skill is singing, it might be nice if you could also fill in a bit on some other instrument, as we hope to include some instrumentals or extended jams. Sound interesting? Hit me up, and let's see what's good!
