I'm the music director at East Stroudsburg University's own 90.3 WESS. I've been into music most of my life though I've never gotten around to learning much other than picking up instruments here and there. I was in a few punk outfits in high school as a singer but nothing ever gelled right. For the past few years I've had some very specific ideas for a band. I would like to keep things independent and put out vinyl on our own if we have to at first. I'm an artist and would like to undertake designing everything related to the band's record covers, t shirts, gig posters, etc.... I've seen a lot of crap come through my area and I finally just want to show NEPA how a band is done right. Just doing something crazy off the wall that people wouldn't be able to handle

Influences
My influences are all over but generally the idea I have for a band is focused in the post punk era stuff like The Government, The Nubs, Saccharine Trust, Husker Du, anything out of the Louisville punk scene of the 80's if you've heard the band Your Food you need to get in contact with me ASAP
obviously I enjoy all walks of hardcore too Black Flag, Negative Approach, Bad Brains, Void
I would even consider doing a typical hardcore band
My newer influences include bands like
Pissed Jeans, fu*ked Up, Career Suicide, Black Eyes, Brutal Knights
