Born Dwayne Shamarr Henderson on June 18, 1982, DYMEZ was raised by a single mother, Wanda Landerway. He had experienced the tough life on the streets of New York where he grew up. Fortunately, the streets life was not the only thing on his mind as he briefly attended high school in where he also explored his rap skill. He first started releasing records in the late 90's, part-financing his music by hustling. In 1996, he recorded with close cousin Cezar Capone and released a album titled "Main Event" which was sold locally and later scored a name in his home town as one of the best rappers in Kingston, NY. "The album, gave me the chance to perform shows locally and in other states. DJ's then respected my hustle n flow and allowed me to appear on mixtapes". Alongside partners from his early group "LIASON", DYMEZ, Cezar Capone and Bugs joined a local Rap Movement called Coalition. In 2003 Coalition dropped a underground album self titled and sold 1000 units out the trunk.
DYMEZ began his career as a rapper and is presently developing into a businessman, he in the future tends to have his own line of clothing called "Confident Clothing" and running his own Youth facility where "Dreams become Reality". "I always wanted to be a entreprenuer and run my own business and not so much a rap artist, but i could never get the music and creative writing to stop".
(2000) After DYMEZ graduated from high school he moved to the bay area and hooked up with Atlanta native producer "Plex" and recorded 6 underground albums and created 3 demos that he gave out all over his hometown and though out the bay area.
(2004) DYMEZ moved back to San jose, California where his older cousin Diamond Jim was starting up a record label "Frontline". During his short stay with "Frontline" he performed and open'd up for various recording artists such as Andre nikatina "Dre Dogg", KRS-1, Planet Asia, Proof from D-12. Appeared on a few bay area DJ mix tapes as well as Frontline's compilation album Group Therapy Vol. 1 which hit stores. Months later his solo project titled "Most Anticipated" was released independently and distributed through Frontline.
In 2006 DYMEZ signed on with independant label MI Records out of Fresno California on a 1 album deal. Through MI Records DYMEZ has been performing in areas such as Merced, Los Banos, Fresno and is currently Hosting a TV show out of Fresno on my53 KAIL called MI Fame. DYMEZ is also presently working on his album titled "Ask About Me" which is expected to drop under MI records summer of 2007.
DYMEZ Also Host a TV show out of Fresno, CA called MI Fame on Fresno KAIL channel 53. MI FAME is a thirty minute program designed to recognize, encourage, and nurture musical talent from the local community. MI FAME is designed to provide another avenue for artistic expression and exposure for up and coming artist, and to allow new artist (with or without videos) an opportunity to advertise their upcoming shows, CD releases, and websites to their fans and core market.

Despite his hard work in pursuing his career in music and business, DYMEZ has always been a family man and puts god, mom and his sister before anything. Sincere promises that he will become successful to give his mom and sister a better way of living and lifestyle.
