ABOUT

I started with piano lessons as a young child. I spent a lot of times in choirs in high school and college. I started writing electronic tracker-program based music (not electronica the genre) in high school and college. I taught myself the basics of acoustic guitar senior year in college and wrote a set of original singer/songwriter material that I performed at open mic nights. I joined a band post college where I was put on the bass and I've been playing bass a ton and haven't looked back, bass is my soul instrument. I've been in a ton of unknown local bands in the Chicagoland area and the greater Seattle area and have learned a lot about being a bassist in a band. I plan on finish upgrading and setting up my home recording studio to write and record original music where I play all of the instruments and potentially sing.

Honestly though, I'm looking for a musician partner to work collaboratively on music. As a bassist, I find that guitarists are kind of what I'm looking for.

Ideally I'd like to create music on my own at home and work with musicians in a collaborative writing effort and form a band that plays shows.

EQUIPMENT

Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo 5-string electric bass.

Ibanez 6-string electric bass.

Fender Rumble 350 bass combo amp.

might be looking for new bass amp head and speak cab setup.

I've got top of the line PC (anti-potato) with the full Steinberg DAW software suite (Cubase, Halion, Wavelab, Groove Agent, etc.)

I've built my effects pedal board for bass from individual effect pedals.

I have a multi-effects pedal board for both bass and guitar that I will be using for home songwriting, recording, composition, production, etc.

I might purchase another bass (5, 6, or 7 strings, leaning towards Ibanez).

I might purchase a 5-string acoustic electric bass.

I might purchase an acoustic electric guitar.

I already have an Ibanez ArtCore Hollow-body Electric Gutiar that is really nice.

I have a portable audio recorder that I've used for rehearsals and live performances and is honestly one of the best tools that I've ever had as a musician.
