ABOUT

Gary Reid Music is modern-day classic rock, with a folk and country bent. It’s music based on gratitude, with a bent towards the good things in life. His lyric-based songs try to tell a story or develop a picture. For the past three years he has been playing professionally in San Diego, mainly at Farmers Markets and Coffee Houses. His most recent album “Vanilla Sunshine” is available at garyreidmusic..
Gary Reid grew up in Boston in the 1970s, and began making music in 2010 on the isle of Kaua’i to share what’s good about life. His favorite compliments are when people tell him that his music changed their outlook on any given day. His favorite shows to play are intimate ones where he can entertain many people and still connect with them on a one-to-one basis.
His fondest accomplishment to date was being invited to play at MayFest in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he got to interact with and entertain just about everyone in the greater Tulsa area over a 4-day period.
At the moment, Gary is booking gigs in the San Diego area and writing and recording his new album “Get This,” which drops on May 1st, 2018.
