My melodic punk / melodic hardcore band is scouring Austin for a new drummer.

We're two late 20's guys with full time jobs, but this is our main creative outlet so we're willing to dedicate time and a little money to practice, play out, and get recorded.

We practice at least once a week, preferably twice. We have material, and need to get this thing going so we can avoid turning down shows.

Initial recordings have more of a melodic skate punk influence, however we wanna use this new drummer opportunity to add more midwest punk influences to that. Gravelly vocals, wall of sound guitar, tight drumming with an open high hat. Emotionally driven, sweaty basement show type stuff. We're hoping for really solid consistent drumming before any other criteria, being super experimental takes a back seat.

The slowest we go is 120BPM, up to 240BPM punk galloping. Not looking to play thrash.
