ABOUT

Bio:
as told by Hitt Music Group
Geoff Gulbranson's music will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride, leaving you a little scared and melancholy, but relaxed at the same time. Some have described his sound as progressive rock combined with some old school and new rock. Influences include John Lennon, Amy Grant, Slayer, and Our Lady Peace, among others. Gulbranson plays the guitar, sings, and writes his own lyrics, making something of a one-man band. He bases his material on personal experiences and interests, as well as through imagination, in which Gulbranson puts himself in certain situations to write from these specific points of view.

Gulbranson is from Virginia and began his musical endeavors at the age of 14. His talents are mostly self-taught, as he learned by ear, and has been pursuing a musical career since. With family and friends to support him, Gulbranson was able to record over 45 CDs over the span of his career, and is still going strong at this point in his calling. His latest CD is entitled, End Times, released in 2006, which was recorded by Gulbranson himself. He continues to concentrate on writing and recording new material for his future works.

Gulbranson is currently working on his 46th CD, and considers his sound unconventional, and ready for radio play. His goals include having his music incorporated into movie soundtracks or television. He also hopes to perform live shows in the near future. Having a good reputation for being a great musician is important to Gulbranson, and being able to support his family through his music would truly make his life complete. To his fans, Gulbranson says, 'Be true to yourself, do not compromise your music or who you are.'
