Looking for KEYBOARD PLAYER/BACKUP VOCALISTS/RHYTHM GUITARIST for my backing band for a short upcoming gig in Monrovia, CA on April 27th, 2024! Gig is a 20 minute set in a multi-artist showcase and it is technically a paid gig as we will all be splitting and getting $20 each.

- Looking for a keyboard player who has dynamics and is familiar with 60s-80s style ballads, rock and roll, and synths! (Influences that come to mind Christine McVie, Roy Bittan, Spike Edney, Freddie Mercury)

- Looking for at least 1 wonderful female backup vocalist who has lots of soul and is familiar with 60s-80s style ballads, rock and pop! (Influences that come to mind The Sweet Inspirations, The Supremes, The Ronettes)

- Looking for a rhythm guitarist who has lots of passion and can support my lead guitarist and is familiar with 50s-80s style rock, ballads and pop! (Influences that come to mind Brian May, EVH, Lindsey Buckingham, Ace Frehley, Bruce Kulick, Paul Stanley, Mike Campbell, Tom Petty, Nancy Wilson, Jimmy Page, Prince)

My style is most influenced by artists like Elvis, Queen, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Tom Jones, Stevie Nicks, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer and KISS.

The set will be 20 minutes and will comprise of 5 cover songs depending on rehearsal and songs chosen. My niche is that I focus mainly on 50s-80s style rock, ballads, rock and roll, and pop but always aim to make it sound more modern and rockier with a big sound.
Sounds similar to Elvis, Queen, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, KISS, most 50s-80s rock, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Michael Jackson, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston.

Since I am more rock oriented, I'm hoping to add an edgier flare to all of them while maintaining their passion and soul

I have lots of live experience over the years playing and singing with other musicians and have basic knowledge of most instruments, have directed bands and am motivated to work together as a team to fully give our best :)

Since the gig is a multi-artist showcase, I would like to also give the opportunity to showcase and credit all musicians who work together with me on a worthy performance!

I plan to make a group chat with everyone involved (so we have clear communication) and for everyone to practice at home revising all the little things.
I am working on booking a rehearsal studio in Westminster for multiple rehearsals since most of the band currently is based in Orange County, LA, Riverside and it is a good center to meet. We will be rehearsing preferably Thursdays from 6-10pm.

If things work out well and we vibe, hopefully we can work together on future projects/gigs with my original music :D

Hey everyone! I have a lot of original music and I'm about to start recording my debut album to release in the Summer of 2024 this year!

I'm looking for drummer, lead and rhythm guitarist, bassist, keys, and background vocalists.

I'm a vocalist, and my voice has been compared to sort of Elvis like style (growing up I'd hear him a lot and learned how to sing that way including taking choir and vocal classes).
I can play the drums, rhythm guitar and piano so knowing a bit of everything, I know exactly how to communicate to the band and unify everyone together.
