Hi! I’m james. I lived in Chicago for over 12 years and now I’m back in VA looking for a band to fit into or to start my own with some cool people.

My strengths rest in the realm of singing while playing rhythm and lead guitar. But I would love to play other instruments as well. I can play a little drums, bass, keyboards, harmonica, mandolin, ukulele, concertina, synth, and I have a trombone that I would like to learn how to play.

My past experiences:
-BFA in theater performance from VCU.
- lead vocals/guitar with band James M and the B.O.T’s
-lead guitar for Man Called Noon
-recorded “everybody move” EP with shirk studios In chicago.
-played gorilla fest at SXSW 2018
-house band leader for late nite talk show formats:“ Tonight it’s Live with Tom Bambara” at Oracle Theater & “What’s behind door number 3 with Rob Wilson” at Double Door.
- live scored theatrical productions “tamales” and “rise of emperor Eric”
-sketch comedy musical direction with Awesomonster & AWSM RADIO PODCAST.
