ABOUT

Just a family guy who loves to sing, and can sight read simple piano music (don't grok chords on keys, sadly) and simple guitar chords (I don't groks notes on strings, sadly). I can play trumpet if you need something really low and slow. Mostly I sing, can sight read and I LOVE vocal harmony, e.g. beach boys, acapella, barbershop, doo wap, duets, trios, quartets, etc...

They only let you pick 3 genre's, but I love just about everything. Not crazy about violent lyrics or ultra loud, in your face stuff.

Music isn't supposed to be calm and just "lovely". It's supposed to convey EMOTION and FEELING and have a MESSAGE (not necessarily a political one, but some sort of message) and MEANING. I dislike music sung with "flat affect" or no emotion (unless the emotion is numbness, e.g. "Luka"). Listen to any other version of "Brother... " (if you can find it. LOL) and then mine.

EQUIPMENT

I have a small music room with a minimal computer based multi track recording system, a 57 mic, midi keyboard, upright grand player piano, trumpet, soprano sax (can't play), and a baritone uke tuned to the top 4 strings of a guitar with a Fender Mustang LT45 amp.
