ABOUT

I've been playing casually since 1986; jumped into lead guitar when hair metal was big. Born and raised in Arkansas; had a lot of heavy southern influence, though I picked up on progressive metal and that's been my direction, mostly. I'm self-taught, and play homemade guitars through homemade amps. I'm not a glamourous player; I don't put much stock in image. I prefer to just play as well as I can. I am not the most technically skilled player, but I can certainly hold my own on stage, and can bring in some good ideas.

I'd love to try something new. I'm ready to be on stage again, and if you have good energy and have fun, message me. I believe music should be fun and I like to have a good time with it. If you think you can change the world with your music, I may not be the guitarist you're looking for. I'm too old for idealism. If you think we can have fun and make a few bucks, I might be able to help you with that.

I should probably say, it's not very likely I'll play any country music, even if you only do this one country song because the audiences like it. And will not under any circumstances play Jesus-music.
