SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist - Soprano, Lead Guitar, Keyboard, Vocalist - Alto.ABOUT
I am primarily a rhythm guitar/saxophone player, but can cover parts on several other instruments, as well as some vocals. I have a lot of experience playing out, but have been on hiatus for a while. I'm looking to start playing again though.
I'm not sure what type of project I want to get involved with this time around, but I definitely want to connect with other musicians that are passionate about what they are doing.

Influences
My listening preferences cover almost every genre, but musically I'm pretty much a product of the 80's and got into bands like Styx, Journey, REO, Men at Work, Scorpions, Triumph, Chicago (more early stuff), and Steely Dan. But I also grew up listening to country and have always enjoyed playing in big band style groups as well (love the layering of sound and rich harmonics you get from a full horn section). Jazz fusion (Spyro Gyra) and smooth jazz (Grover Washington/David Sanborn/Dave Koz) are also favorites. But I also get into pop/rock groups/artists like 3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Evanescence, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Lincoln Park, Halestorm, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Sara Bareilles, etc. My music taste is all over the map really.
