ABOUT

UPDATE: I recently retired and started a new job which has kept me from being on here and also slowed down my chance for playing music. I apologize for not replying to any that might have emailed me here. I am now trying to get back in the music groove.

Just mainly checking this web site to see if any groups or other musicians looking for someone with strong musical instrument background and good vocal capabilities to join in for jamming or more. I live in Mustang and have for about 9 years now in a very stable work life as I am real close to retiring after 30 years in this job I am in.

I played bass guitar in rock/country/top 40s back in mid 70s for several years until my job disallowed it anymore. In the last few years I decided I still had the craving for playing and singing live music so I invested in an acoustic/electric guitar and started learning rhythm and chords. I am far from being an “accomplished guitarist” but am gaining a little all the time.

As for vocals, I have sung all my life in various capacities (church, groups, etc). If needed, I can also read music and sing from sheet music either melodies or harmonies either one with a fairly good range from the bass lines up to the tenor. Most of the time, I enjoy singing the harmonies more so than the lead melodies. I am sure not trying to sell myself off as some grand guitar player but I just love music and love singing.
