My name is Kal Wilkinson, but you can Google Kal Bear to find out more info about me. most people know me as Kal Bear. I have over 2 million streams on Spotify total and I produce my own instrumentals as well. I am a singer songwriter and I mainly perform with an acoustic guitar, singing original songs I’ve written. Occasionally I would do a cover, but my music seems to captivate the crowd listening. I’m from Belfast Northern Ireland, but I moved to the States a year ago. I’m 21 years old now, but I’ve been performing in the streets since I was 13 years old, busking for money. I eventually got out of homelessness at 17 because of the music I made. Music is the reason I’m here today writing this message you’re reading and I’ll never stop making songs. This is my livelihood and I love what I do. I hate to compare my music to anyone because I really am a very original style, but I get comparisons to Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Lewis Capaldi and Olivia Rodrigo a lot for my pop songs. But I also rap as well and I normally get compared to Eminem, Joyner Lucas or NF. Like I said, I don’t like putting names out there, but this is just to give you an idea of my kind of music. My category of music ranges from Pop to Folk, to Rap and sometimes I would mix Pop with Rap.
