Seeking like-minded musicians and bands to play with. Currently involved in a great project, but love to branch out.
55 Years old, no drugs or alcohol, drama free and have evening time on most weekdays available for practice and gigs on weekends, etc. I live in Logan Square, in Chicago.
Have professional gear. Alembic five string bass, Lakland four string bass, Warwick 8 string bass. Aguilar amplification. Also use Helix rack for live performances and some bass synth.
Some Background:
Played for years in the 90s in South Central KY with a band called The Park Avenue Dregs. You will find us on all streaming services, start with Hexsignia, it's my favorite and a good showing of me playing singable bass lines and performing backup vocals.
I took many years off from playing music, and am getting my chops back and am playing better than ever, but still growing as a musician. Influences are industrial, alternative, classic rock, and anything from any other genre as long as it is wildly interesting.
