I'm 43 years old, live in Snohomish WA, I have many years experience singing and performing in the area, I was a member of the band Jezebels Cure (that was an original hard rock band) and was a founding member of country band SoHo Down (SHD). With SHD, I played all over Northern Virginia and some in Maryland in both public & private settings. We primarily played in the Woodbridge/Occoquan area at such places as The Electric Palm, Morgans, and Tims Rivershore, just to name a few. Even though we billed ourselves as a country band, we didn't limit the music that we did to just country. I've sung everything from Martina McBride, Journey, Pink, Heart, Janis Joplin, Fergie, Daughtry, even Zeppelin & Skid Row.
With Jezebels Cure, we played a lot of competitions in VA and DC, and actually had one of our songs played during "Local Licks" on DC101. I've never been one to talk about how great I am, but I can tell you that I've been compared vocally to Ann Wilson for the majority of my musical career. I have a very broad range and it is a powerful one, but I also know when to reign it in and use control.
