I'm in need of some sort of outlet. I'm interested in taking part in any musical project that will allow me to express myself to some extent. I feel I can be a very energetic and emotive player but also have had the discipline to play music as it is written with respect to the author. As far as what I'd like to play, I'm a mixed bag due to my experience of playing in four completely different bands in college with genres being rock, metal, prog-jam, and Zappa (if you want to call that a genre). I have also been trying to learn the most of what I can on my own in my weak spots which are mainly jazz and country. I try to fancy myself as someone with being able to keep the stage alive help keep the flow as smooth as possible.

Influences
Frank Zappa, Metallica, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, The Dear Hunter, The Avett Brothers, Protest the Hero, Baroness, much too much to list here. Honestly just about anything that I hear has the potential to influence my playing whether I like the music or not but what I tend to listen to is metal and hard rock of all types, some indie/prog/post-rock, a little folk, and basically anything that is an expression of emotions more than ideas.
