Influences

I have never really patterned my drumming after anyone. I am a left handed person playing a right handed set. I do a double bass technique that I developed in the 80's myself using my right foot and my right hand on floor tom. My favorite bands are not my favorites to play.

I am having a blast learning a lot of new songs but i like putting my own twist to things. For example, Godsmacks version of Beatles Come together is great example.

EQUIPMENT

I am pretty versatile and equipment is growing fast. At home I have an 11 piece mix matched old Pearl drum set and I have a 5 piece Pearl with cases for on the road. I have a cajon box drum i have done campfire gigs with and congas, bongos, ect..
I always hated getting to a gig and hearing the sound guy tell me I get 3 mics for my drums. Wrong. I have a Beand new Behringer x air x18 w/16usb preamp interface, a INuk3000dsp amp, 880w x 2 and gave two inuke 100dsp amps back oreded. I have studio quality mics for every drum. 4 overhead condenser mics, 2 Shure 58 betas. My mains are JBL SF 15's, 1000w and i have 18" JBL subs in new cabinets. Then i have a pair of JBL 250w monitors that double as small venue mains. I also have a pair of Kustom 150w 12" floor monitors. I mic all my drums or none and I have a few spare channels for the rest of the band. lol
