Middle aged male retired on disability. Bass is my main instrument, but I do play guitar. I was once fairly advanced; however, I'd classify myself as moderate today. I still have some good chops, but I haven't played with others in years; ergo, I'll have a small learning curve. That said, I'm confident that I can sit in with most folks and not be embarrassed.

Influences
Started in the early 80's with classic heavy metal. By age 16, I got into the blues; and never left. I can play a bit of funk, jazz bluegrass/flok. In addition, I play a bit of Spanish guitar. Honestly, when it comes to guitar, I'm very knowledgeable with jazz chords and scales ect, and I have an excellent finger picking style, so I sound more advanced, but I don't really know any standard songs. So I'd love to contribute creatively, but my focus or desired position would be as a bassist.

EQUIPMENT
1961 fender p-bass. Fender acoustic bass....Peavy TNT150 amp. I have a couple of acoustic guitars and an epiphone-sg, and a small practice amp.
