Lightnin’ James and the Rainmakers are an electrified blues band deeply rooted in the Chicago, Mississippi Delta, and Louisiana Swamp Blues styles. Keeping with the traditions of the great pioneers of the Blues such as Muddy Waters, Slim Harpo, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson, and Taj Mahal, the Raleigh North Carolina based band is keeping the Blues alive by delivering a truly authentic Blues experience.
