Disposable Truth. Right now we are focusing on getting some covers (primarily Metallica) mastered, sounding true, and complete. But after playing out a few times, and speaking with other musicians, they have really convinced us to focus on our original material. We have a couple ideas that we have been tossing around, but we really need a second guitarist to fill out the sound. We did have a second guitarist for a while but for various reasons it did not work out. Looking for someone to really solidify the quartet, and that will remain committed because we are in this for the long haul. Influences
Lots of metal (obviously Metallica), and especially metal from the eighties. Punk of course, classical music, progressive, experimental, grunge and funk.
Members Of Band
Mack plays a sludgy slap bass and sings lead vocals. Maurice plays a mean guitar and is French, the poor bastard. Lau plays the drums very quick and dependable and is also unfortunately French. Just kidding...
EQUIPMENT
Electronic drums for band practices and recording, acoustic drums for playing out (not sure off the top of my head what kind), ESP and Schecter Guitars and Line 6 pod for practices and recording, but soon to be upgraded to Engl head for playing out to replace the current solid state used, but sounds fine. Old beat up Charvel bass from 1986 with an endless slew of modifications, played out of a SansAmp DI distortion box, bass pod. SVT Classic (heavy ass amp) used for playing out. Might lose the SVT and get something lighter.
