ABOUT

I play mostly Mandolin but can play a bit of Dobro and sing a little. Looking to join or form a local band to play gigs like festivals, coffee houses, open mics, afternoon outdoor bar gigs, in the park or on porch for fun. Not looking to tour or make a living but it would be nice to make a little extra cash and have some fun.

Looking for musicians who are close to my age i.e. 40+. Strong vocalists or soloists with some stage experience - guitar, bass, banjo, cello, fiddle and/or percussion.

I have have been playing in various local groups for 40+ years. can play a variety of covers and some original material in the americana, folk, bluegrass, folk rock and blues style. I don't play super fast but can play in a variety of tempos and styles and have a nice bluegrass chop.
