My name is Mariel Faye, I am a singer looking to either form a band to back me and my writing/vocals or to join an already formed band. I moved to Nashville about 4 years ago and have just been working so often that I never made my moves in music. In my home town of Starkville, MS where I grew up and went to college I was playing constantly at bars and restaurants, entering songwriting contests, playing open mics, etc. I am looking to get more serious about my singing again and need some great, fun musicians like yourself to join me! My style is very folky and acoustic but I also love to sing classic rock, oldies, and jazzier stuff. I can do any type of vocal styling. I have a lower register and love to write lyrics!
