August, the Band, is an R&B band, with rock influences. Our 7-man horn section (3 trumpets, alto, tenor, bari, trombone) makes us unique in the industry. Our first CD, "Second Time Around", was released in August, 2010. We are working on our second full release, but have released "Chicago, Calling Me Home, Feelin' Alright, You Can Leave Your Hat On", and "In the Heat of the Night", all of which are available on iTunes and can be heard on Sirius radio and HornDrivenRadio.

"In the Heat of the Night" features multi-grammy winning artist, Bill Champlin, formerly of the band Chicago.
