I am posting for my son Garrett, who is 19 years old and wants to start his own band. My son, for as long as I can remember was always obsessed with music. He plays multiple instruments (drums, guitar, bass). He did School of Rock for about 6 years and is now in his second year with Paul Green Rock Academy (PGRA) which is a program for advanced students.
In the summer, of 2019 he toured with PGRA and opened a few times for Jon Anderson of Yes. Over the years my son has been fortunate to perform and record with a number of high profile professional musicians and has done over 100 performances.
You might be wondering why I am writing this post for my son. Garrett is on that autistic spectrum, so he sometimes has trouble with communication. He is a freshman at NCC and lives at home in Fairfield.
His interest is to play classic rock and original music. Most of his original music, is arranged with multiple harmonies. He therefore us looking for a few vocalists along with instrumental. He told me he would probably play the guitar or drums in his band as he is proficient at both. I have been told many times that he has perfect pitch and plays mostly by ear.
