My name is Matt Mahoney and I've been gigging with bands for about 8 years. I've played guitar for around 12 years. Since graduating from University of Kansas, most of my bandmates have moved away. I've been playing with a few bands over the years that have pretty significant success in entertaining as well as having a hell of a lot of fun doing so. I've played in a successful cover band, a band in Kansas City that focuses on classics (stevie wonder, van morrison, pop covers, etc) and have played gigs with KU jazz musicians. All have been really fun and anyone who is serious about getting gigs or creating some funky tunes should get a hold of me! Mainly I practice rock, blues, lead guitar rock, (Hendrix, Santana etc..) funk, soul, reggae, etc.
