ABOUT

Massimo was born in Carpi (MO) the 5th of December, 1979. He began studying drums at the age of 10, starting playing with some local band. He started his educational course at the Modern Music Academy of Modena in 1995 with the maestro Franco Rossi. He also took piano lessons with Stefano Calzolari, arrangement lessons with Davide Fregni and bass guitar lessons with Paolo Gialdi.
After having taken the graduation,in July 1998, Massimo took part to the summer course of the Berklee Boston School organised in Perugia, Italy.
Here he reached the scholarship to attend the Berklee College of music.

In the 2000 Massimo took drum lessons for 1 year with Alfredo Golino and Antonio Golino. Next, he moved to Milan to follow the Eugenio Moris lessons, so that he could obtain a good preparation on technique, style and musicality.

In 2004 he went to Atlanta (U.S) to join the Francisco Vidal band in a musical collaboration. Here,just in 4 months, Massimo obtained a tour of 100 dates, playing with many bands of Atlanta. He also recorded the drum tracks for a Sam Thackers album.

In 2007 he partecipated with the artist Omar Pedrini to the italian festival of pop music called Festivalbar, playing in many italian places:
Trieste, Chieti, Verona.

He partecipated to the tv programs Top of the pops, Cd Live and Trl, in the same year.

He also played in the radio program Radionorma battiti.

Nowadays he works in many music projects with different musicians and bands in Milan, Verona and Modena.

He also work as a drum teacher in Verona and Modena.

He is always looking for new interesting artistical projects.
