I started playing the drums when I was 13 by taking weekly lessons. I went to the Fine Arts Center in Greenville for 3 years and studied Percussion and Jazz performance. I have played in 2 other bands, one of which I played mostly reggae and classic rock with and the other just classical rock. Classic rock was not really my thing, the members in the second band were men much older than me taking lessons at the same place I was and that was their preferred genre. I really got into reggae because of the first band and I really would like to pursue that more.
