I just returned from Houston and am looking to find that "right" band to put together. I am a songwriter but also do covers. I can would like to play lead though not necessarily all the time. I have been performing independently in the St. Louis area for the last couple of years. I went to Houston and played for a couple of months. I graduated high school early and came home to walk with my class and then I don't know... I would love to find/put together a band to play out and record together. It would be nice to have someone who also writes, though not necessary. We need to have chemistry and the ability to make great music together.
EQUIPMENT
I have a Custom Shop Gibson Semi-hollow Body and a Acoustic Electric Blueridge. I have various pedals and effects. I own a jamman looper and a couple of decent speakers with stands. I also have a Gibson Tube Amp and a Banjo. I have my own mic. I do not have a PA system at this time but do have friends who can help with that. Ultimately we would need a PA.
