ABOUT

Hey y’all! My name is Michael, or as my stupid stage name goes, Mr. Lemon. I’m a songwriter, guitarist, and novice producer who’s looking for some dope human beings to make songs with. I’m very collaborative, very friendly, and best of all, I respond to my phone in a timely manner lol.

I played trombone in a lot of reggae/ska groups in Los Angeles through my high school/college days. Once college wasn’t working out, I joined the army and learned guitar throughout my career. Now that I’m back in LA, I tried forming a band, created a bunch of songs, and we actually had some success. Unfortunately, COVID really messed things up and we just can’t seem to get the ball rolling again. But I love music too much to keep away, so I’m willing to give up some of my music and taste to help others bring a vision or sound to fruition.

I am very communicative and honest on what I think works or doesn’t work (whether it’s practice, song structure, lyrics, you get it) but it’s always coming from a place of love for music and the group, never of arrogance or being stuck up.

I hope to meet some dope humans along the way and find a little group to call home!
