I've been singing and playing acoustic guitar for about four years, mostly doing Irish traditional and sea chanties on the renaissance faire scene. I'm looking to expand my musical horizons by playing with a group, and playing some different styles.
I'm willing to try just about anything, but my ideals would be indie-folk-rock, ska, or goth-metal-electronic (yeah, all over the place, I know). I'm not much of a lyricist, but I'm definitely interested in trying some collaborative songwriting.
I'm okay with a casual "just for fun" arrangement, but with the right people I'd be willing to take it as far as it goes.
While I can technically say I play bass and bagpipes, both are still very much in the beginner stages.
