I’m putting together a traditional garage rock band—smart, emotional, fast, sweaty, melodic American rock.

ABOUT ME
Singer and guitarist. I’ve been playing seriously for about 20 years, though I’m a bit rusty at the moment thanks to spending some time growing up. I’m 36, too old to believe in rock-star fairytales, but my writing and playing are better than ever and I’m still eager to make our mark as a respected local band. I was semi-pro in my twenties, so I have experience both touring in a beat-up old van, getting ripped off by promoters and playing to empty rooms AND getting flown around the country and put up in nice hotels with all expenses paid.

Age, gender, appearance, whatever—I don’t care. I want to play with people who take rock music seriously and are reasonably fun to be around. Please be reliable and professional, no egos, no drink/drug problems.

I want a band—writing and arranging together, sharing ownership—rather than strangers playing “my” songs. Democracy, not dictatorship. I would make a lousy dictator anyway.
