I am truly blessed, but every now and then, one has to deal with life on life's terms. Music drives my soul and keeps me uplifted during good times. When times are bad, music keeps me grounded and I think of Horatio Spafford's words:
"When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say
It is well, it is well with my soul."
Since it is only possible to select four genres, I have to add baroque, blues, swing, many styles of jazz, and Christian hymns and praise charts.
