As it stands, I've found that playing guitar solely in your bedroom can get pretty boring after a while.

Influences
My guitar-playing style has been influenced by a number of guitarists, including, but not limited to, Adam Jones of Tool, Matt Bellamy of Muse, Tom Morello of Rage against the Machine, Jonny Greenwood and Ed O'Brien of Radiohead, and Mike Einziger of Incubus. There's probably others I'm forgetting as well, but these guitarists stick out to me the most.
My musical influences come from a variety of genres, from both experimental genres and nuanced genres. Examples include industrial music, noise rock, experimental rock, prog rock, space rock, and art rock. I've dabbled in other genres as well, but these stick out to me personally.

EQUIPMENT
My guitar is a cheap Squier Stratocaster that I have had since I was 12. I also have a cheap acoustic that I don't even know how long I've had.
I have a Line 6 Spider V amp, which is capable of emulating numerous amp sounds, as well as other effects. It's not the most boutique of amps, but it definitely gets the job done.
As of right now, most of my equipment comes down to my pedalboard, since I have about 11 pedals in my signal chain currently.
In the near future, I do plan on replacing both my guitar and my amp, but I haven't made much progress on that front as of the present.
