Influences

When it comes to jazz guitarists, I prefer the Bill Frisell/John Scofield "generation" over say, a Joe Pass sound. I enjoy the crossover americana/jazz sound that Bill Frisell and Julian Lage have explored.

another perspective: My influences come from the singer-songwriter genre of the 1970s and the jazz world. Every year, my playing leans more and more to the jazz side.
