Band to Join, Vocalist - Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Violin, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer, Harmonica.ABOUT
Forced to retire due to a disability a few years ago some friends in our park decided to put together a band to play and rehearse right at home. Loved it for a couple of years. Had to learn to sing (with new voice due to protracted neck surgery in 2010) all over again. Worked hard and re-invented my old frontman character, Pistol Pete. band leader fell back into a bottle and the band died. Having been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers in 2012, I had to work harder than most. That's not a complaint. After 40 years away from performing music (as I did from age 6-22) I was ADDICTED to performing for a crowd again and still am. My doctors say it's great therapy for me. Who cares? I sing and perform because I LOVE it. I was told when I was a young performer that I had a gift and should share it. I still feel that way and believe that I have a lot to still give back if I can get with a band who's members are as passionate as I am about belting it out and leaving it all on stage for the audience.
