Hello all.

I'm a bassist / utility guy and I'm available for pickup gigs, fill-ins, projects, and studio work. I give private lessons in the Mid Missouri area.

I'd also consider signing on for the right long term/permanent situation.

If you're looking for someone with pro gear, good listening and playing chops, and plenty live and studio experience....someone who enjoys playing for the song... and not to show off their chops... then look no further.

I'm a fast learner and always try to bring the big groove, tone, ideas, great attitude, and good vibes to the gig or project.

I play 4 string fretted/fretless, six string, and upright bass.

I also play "mallets": I play (and own) vibraphone, marimba, and malletKAT (a synthesizer played with mallets... it works great for steel drums, marimba, assorted percussion, organ, piano, etc.)

And I also play guitar, acoustic and electric mandolin, mondo (octave electric mandolin), lap steel, and dobro.

I enjoy playing and writing all styles of music... Rock, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass/NewGrass, Folk, Reggae, World, etc.
