Mixed/varied interests. Available for freelancing/fill in. I play Double Bass and Electric. On Double Bass, I currently play in the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra. I am interested in finding further outlets for my Electric playing, potentially doing something along the lines of any of the three following scenarios (in no particular order of preference):
-Blues inspired Rock: Albert King, Stevie Ray, Buddy Guy, Freddie King, Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters etc
-Soulful/Funky Grooves: Scofield (Uberjam), Medeski, Martin, Wood, Eric Hunter, Soulive, Meters, Maceo Parker,
Also open to other possibilities. Ideally: Looking to join a group functioning, if not working group. I’m interested in playing/locking in with a drummer with strong groove.
